Ruins people's credit reputation

I had a similar experience to Lesley where I thought I was getting a fantastic offer of having my debit orders reduced, by having the interest removed. This was last week Thursday 31st of March 2022. The phone call lasted an entire hour while they coerced me to access my bank account and accept the mandate debit order and sign while they waited on the phone for me to do this. I realised a bit too late that I was being put under Debt Review, and despite trying to have everything reversed and the mandate cancelled by phone calls, WhatsApps and emails since Thursday, this has still not happened. The result of their actions is that my Debit orders bounced ruining my Credit reputation, and I'm now told they don't know if they can reverse the whole process as I was also "flagged" that I am overindebted. Surely if I'm paying all my debit orders and nothing ever bounced until they got involved, I should not be overindebted? Never answer any phone calls from this company or any similar company offering to "help you" by reducing your interest rates on loans or debit orders.
