Misleading confirmation regarding credit check consent

I received a call from a consultant saying he can access all my accounts and he is aware that I pay high interest. While we are chatting, I get an SMS confirming that I gave consent for them to do credit checks and reason is due to affordability. They are misleading people. I never gave consent to such 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
