Furniture polish promised with the sale

I used to go to the store several times, I really loved Morelli lounge suite, was a bit reluctant to purchase, few months down the line a sales rep Thami Dlamini at Springfield branch would call several times to persuade me to buy, was on holiday at the time, came back went to the store. Before I could pay he promised to offer leather polish with the lounge set. Couches got delivered. Went back to the store for the polish he and the admin lady ganged against me saying that no promise was made. Such a terrible thing to do to a customer, telling lies, but when they wanted the sale the called almost daily and made promises. Just couldn't believe that that's how customers gets treated after acquiring a sale by such a classy store. Took the matter up to their head office spoke to Saneera who just became aggressive. My point is not to cry over some furniture polish, it's the lies they tells and later denies. Admin lady said Thami hasn't even made enough commission on your sale, why must he give you polish. If the guy felt that he couldn't any more, at least he could have had the decency to handle the matter in an honest way. But to gang against a customer is not an option.
