Urgent: Unresolved Service Issue at ADT Port Elizabeth Damaging Credit Score

Dear Hello Peter, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with ADT Port Elizabeth's service, which has caused significant inconvenience, financial burden, and negatively impacted my credit score. History of the Issue: * In late June 2024, I had a faulty alarm system installed at my residence. * Upon returning from a trip on July 18, 2024, I reported the issue. Despite repeated promises (July 22nd & August 6th), technicians never arrived. * Finally, on August 9th, a technician confirmed a faulty system requiring replacement. Unresolved Issue and Service Cancellation: * Despite the confirmed fault, the alarm system remained unrepaired or replaced until September 2024. * Due to the repeated failure to address the problem and lack of service for several months, I cancelled the debit order on August 17th, 2024. Attempts to Resolve the Dispute: * With no response from ADT, I followed up with Wonke at ADT PE via email on November 15th, attaching previous communication and proof of payment cancellation. (Attached: Follow-up emails) Impact on Credit Score and Financial Loss: * This unresolved issue and service cancellation likely resulted in negative marks on my credit report. * To prevent further damage, I was forced to pay R385 to ADT while the matter is investigated. * Additionally, ADT claims I never paid a R300 initiation fee, which I did, causing further credit score damage. (Attached: Proof of payment for initiation fee, if available) Unfair Billing and Request for Resolution: * Despite the lack of service for several months with a faulty system, ADT is demanding payment for those months. * I urge Hello Peter to investigate this matter. I demand a swift resolution from ADT that includes: * Confirmation of waived charges for the months with a non-functional alarm system. * Reimbur*****t of the R385 paid to prevent credit score damage. * Assistance in rectifying any remaining damage to my credit score caused by this situation. * Confirmation of repair or replacement for the alarm system (if not already completed in September). * Review of their service practices to prevent such issues in the future. I expect a prompt reply from both Hello Peter and ADT outlining a clear plan to address these issues. I have attached all relevant documentation for your reference. Sincerely, Sibusiso Mkhwa****
