Unreliable Security Provider

A month ago, I began my registration process with ADT, a decision motivated by the company's reputable standing in security solutions. However, the sequence of events following my initial engagement has compelled me to advice against signing up with the company for security services.

After submitting the required documents to activate my service, I was met with a disheartening silence, despite my proactive effort to reach out via two separate phone calls. This lack of response prompted a decision to cancel my subscription—a decision that was initially communicated verbally and then reinforced through an email to ***, as instructed. Although I received an acknowledgment of my email, I did not receive a response until my follow-up a week later.

The resolution to cancel my subscription was eventually confirmed. Nevertheless, the ordeal did not conclude there. Despite the supposed cancellation of my subscription, I continue to receive alerts from ADT whenever my alarm is triggered, suggesting that my account is active. Further attempts to clarify this situation and finalise my cancellation have been met with the same pattern of unresponsiveness.

This series of events—marked by a glaring disconnect in communication, unresolved activation, and cancellation processes, and an overall lack of professionalism—raises significant concerns about the reliability and efficiency of ADT's services. For a company entrusted with the paramount task of ensuring our safety, such lapses are unacceptable.

I had hoped for a resolution that would not necessitate public discourse; however, the sustained lack of follow-up compels me to advise prospective clients to tread with caution.

In a domain as critical as security, transparency, responsiveness, and professionalism are non-negotiable. It is my earnest hope that this account will catalyze the necessary dialogues and improvements needed to restore faith in what should be a premium service experience.

Sincerely,

TH
