Provident fund claim

I was working for federlity security service but I was dismissed went to cc a lost the case but I never received my provident fund from then I went to their offices to get help so I can get my provident fund however they told me they can not assist me without an employee number because they don't see me on their system I was advise to go and look for an old pay sleep that I no longer have just need help on how I can claim my provident fund from them I even try to ask them the name of their provident fund but they are refusing to help me with it please help me
