POOR EMPLOYEE SERVICES WHEN INJURED ON DUTY

Good day, My brother was involved in an accident early morning 15 October 2024, on the job as a reaction officer in Fidelity ADT security company. We were told their medical aids are network medical aid. But the process to assist an employee on a hospital bed from 2am to 12:00 noon and no Doctor has attended to them. The sad part is they were injured on duty and no one is making an initiative to help them and authorize payment so that they are helped. They are on hospital beds crying in pain with no assistance and the private hospital is saying they will move them to a public hospital. Human life is more important especially when you nearly lose your life on duty, but the company is doing nothing all we hear is the paper work is moving from one HR person to the other a department that handles accident related issues in Fidelity. What does employment equity say? treating your internal stakeholders fairly is the first thing you do before external stakeholders, the question is does Fidelity care about it's employees. My brother can die on a hospital bed in ER @ Netcare Ferndale withpout assistance from Doctors because Fidelity ADT Security company people who authorize payments are taking their precious time to give authorization. If it was not a person of color would it delay until 10 hours, if it was them in head office or their family members would they take their time to give authorization, does employee benefits come with color? Should a life be lost what do you tell my brothers daughter who is a year and 3moths? That her father died on duty and the company failed to authorize payment for your dad? As i speak it is 12:10 noon and my brother and his colleague are not attended to.
