Night security guard goes above and beyond to inconvenience us.

<p>It was 22:47 on the 19th of May. My partner and I had just left the cinemas after an otherwise splendid evening at the mall. We made our way to the bathrooms at Entrance 4, which were still open and displayed no signs that they would be closed any time soon.</p> <p>I entered the Men's room and greeted the security guard, who very clearly acknoleged me as I walked in, and got no reply back. I made nothing of it. Just as I was washing up I heard the sound of the barracade gate closing. I ran out to find the same security guard had almost finished shutting it completely.</p> <p>I confronted him and enquired as to why he would close the gate and attempt to lock us in, fully knowing that I was still in the bathroom. He couldn't be bothered to (a) inform me that he was closing as I walked right passed him or (b) simply wait 2 minutes and be professional and courteous to the customers. He then tried to quickly come up with some poor excuse. I then told him my partner would be just 30 seconds and asked if he could kindly wait for her to finish. As we exited under the barracade the guard then prompty and very intentionally began closing the gate down on us.</p> <p>At this stage I became increasingly frustrated at the lengths to which this individual would try to inconvenience others. I took a photo of his ID badge and have all his credentials (which will be attached).</p> <p>This kind of behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional and reflects badly on the mall, security company and rest of the guarding force. I will be taking this issue up further with mall management and the security company itself. </p>
