Fidelity make it impossible to cancel service.

Hi I have been following recently moved house and need to cancel my ADT/Fidelity service. I emailed them weeks ago and have called numerous times but to no avail. They seem to make it impossible to cancel the service. All I want is to cancel a service I no longer require, but the provider is blocking this process. Please can someone help.
