FIDELITY ADT BULLYING
In the morning of the 8th of November last a year a security from Fidelity ADT was driving on the curb of the road talking to a pedestrian. My car was inside the traffic circle going straight he joined the traffic circle without looking and bumped my car denting the back door, the body, rear fender and rear bumper, crushing the back wheel cap. The driver apologized said he wasn't looking and accepted responsibility. His supervisors came to the scene and the accident was reported at the police station where he also accepted responsibility. They said the company will call me to arrange fixing my car, after 3 days I called the driver because I still hadn't received the call from his company, he was rude and told me to fix my own car, basically told me to **** off. After struggling for a while, I eventually go to hold of the company's claims department. They haven't told me to **** off like their driver, but it seems like they are but just in a polite manner. Below is the timeline of events. We are going for 8 months now since the accident and below is the timeline: • 8th November 2022 – Accident • 11th November 2022 – ADT contacted • 10th January 2023 - Paperwork submitted including Vehicle Registration Document • 11th January 2023 – Claim Number issued • 25th January 2023 - After following up numerous times the Vehicle Registration Document is requested again and I send the same day for the 2nd time. • 17th February 2023 – I’m informed the claim has gone for authorization. • 28th March 2023 – After following up numerous times I’m informed that the matter is still awaiting Vehicle Registration Document and I send the same day for the 3rd time. • 29th March 2023 – After following up numerous times I’m informed that the claim has gone for authorization, second time now. • 3rd May 2023 – After following up numerous times I’m informed that the matter has gone for review. Now ever since no response. I'm not sure whether it's a color thing, or it's a class thing or it's an affordability thing because they can't tell me that it's their standard way of operating. And I really do not think they would be treating a person who was capable of hiring her own private lawyers like this. This to me is starting to look like a big corporate bullying a small person hoping they walk away.
