Big Company making client pay for their in competency
We had Phone Inn Contract with Fidelity-ADT. We moved end September 2025, on the 7 October 2025, they closed the account and they open a new account. All they had to do is just to change the address.
So, in December 2025 after I received a statement that is showing that the debit orders did not go off, I contacted ADT. I found out that they did not capture my bank account details correctly on their system, the account detail was correct on the form that I send them. So how professional are Fidelity-ADT if they can’t even capture your account details correctly.
So, Fidelity-ADT wrote off the amount, thank you for that, but they did not correct it on my credit report. How can you trust a company with your security if they can’t even capture a bank account correctly on their side? So, I decided to cancel the contract, what follows is again an example of total disrespect for clients. They charge me and cancelation amount; I try to load the bank account details and reference on 2 different FNB accounts and on a Capitec Bank account and on all 3 it gets rejected.
I went to Checkers Hyper in Vereeniging with the statement to pay the fee. I was told that the reference number does not exist. So now how can I pay the amount if the reference number doesn’t exist?
Now I found out that Fidelity-ADT is in the process to hand me over for debt collection.
You can cancel a contract with them if you move or use another security firm, but you can't cancel if they are in competent.
This again shows that big companies do not care about their customers, but what they forget is they cannot exist without customers.
