ADT shirking their responsibility

<p>An ADT guard (in uniform) ran across a busy street at 07:30 in peak traffic, straight into my daughter's car. She hit him so hard that he flew over the vehicle, smashing her windscreen and extensively damaging the entire side of her vehicle. After she struggled to get out of her car (because it was so badly damaged) she approached the man and asked him if he was alright. He said no.</p> <p>She turned to retrieve her cellphone from her vehicle, and by the time she turned back...he was GONE.</p> <p>He had run across the road, jumped into an ADT vehicle and sped off.</p> <p>We are in possession of camera footage of the incident, yet ADT/Fidelity are saying that this is not an insurance matter, but rather a legal one. Read between the lines.....<span style="text-decoration: underline;">we won't have my daughter's vehicle repaired for MONTHS.</span></p> <p>So now we are forced to claim from our own insurance (and lose our no claim bonus) just to have the vehicle repaired, as she needs her car to get to and from work.</p> <p>The ADT guard was out of his designated area, was not wearing his headgear and fled the scene of the accident.</p> <p>And because of his negligence and ******** activity we must be out of pocket. SHOCKING!!!!!</p>
