Disgusting customer service
<br> <br> I am writing this complaint with a great deal of disappointment and a heavy heart. <br> <br> I've always been a staunch Alfa Romeo fan, to the point where I disregarded the naysayers and purchased a Guilletta QV - against my better judgement. The rumour mill often seeded stories of gloom and doom, mostly related to the dealers mandated to uphold the brand. But I felt this to be isolated incidents.<br> <br> While the vehicle hasn't been without its faults - it has had its fair share of warranty issues - my complaint lies directly with the dealers mandated to offer customer service in this regard.<br> <br> And just as the people who had warned me, my experience these last few years has been nothing short of dismal. <br> <br> The final straw comes courtesy of NMI Durban. <br> <br> The vehicle had been sitting in your shop for 4 weeks with a defective turbo. In that time, I heard from my service advisor less than 5 times. Having worked in the industry, I do understand that warranty claims of this type do take a few days to be approved. I also understand that parts ordered from Italy would take a few weeks to arrive. I had no qualms here. The fact that I had to engage the dealership countless times for updates, and every ti
