Alfa Rome Service from HELL

Alfa Romeo Service from hell

Worst service from an Alfa Romeo(Arnold Schwartz, formerly Sandowner Constantia
Kloof) - South Africa

My car (Guilleta), still under warrantee, had a manufacturer defect. It was

initially a clutch problem, which they agreed to fix(at my cost). After fixing the

clutch, the car returned with a DIFFERENT and NEW problem...a gearbox issue, which

did not exist before.

The car developed unusual sounds when engaging the clutch. I complained for 2 and a

half years!!! They acknowledged the problem but failed to fix it.

I persisted!

It was this year 2017, January 31st, that they finally identified and confirmed

that the issue is with the gearbox.

There is a compounded problem that they when fixed the initial clutch isssue, they

took it to a third party, which they had an internal agreement with. According to

them, the third party put a sticker on the clutch, so their conclusion was that I

was to follow-up with their own sub-contracted third party to get the damage that

was caused to be fixed.

I am not responsible or accountable to their decision to take it to a third party.

I have no agreement with the third party, it is their relationship which THEY

should manage!

Why should it be my problem that I should resolve an issue with a party that I

NEVER involved??

I am approaching end of warranty (end of June 2017), and this is worrying me.

Help!

@fcagroup

Alfa Romeo Service from hell

Worst service from an Alfa Romeo(Arnold Schwartz, formerly Sandowner Constantia
Kloof) - South Africa

My car (Guilleta), still under warrantee, had a manufacturer defect.
