False Profits

Definitely won't suggest them to anyone. What you see is not what you get at all... They are renting out flats under the name of the church, everything is signed with "FGC Community Church - Landlord" (therefor it only seems fitting to do the review here) and my daughter is renting from them. Recently the flats were without power for a whole week. My daughter did what she could to also help with the issues with the power and even put Pastor Tanya in touch with members from the D.A thanks to connections. The power outage started affecting my daughters business as she works from home, (when she went to sign the contract before moving into the lot she informed them - Pastor Tanya and her husband- to make sure this would't be a problem and to confirm the she can install WiFi at home to be able to work from home) and she also has a 3 year old boy. She raised her concern about not being able to work and not being able to pay rent if the power outage continues and about being home alone in the dark with a 3 year old upon which she was told by Pastor Tanya that it is not their problem. Not long after the power finally came on (after being off for a whole week) the power once again went off for about 2 days. The situation got very frustrating for all tenants stressing about being without power again for week(s).

Pastor Tanya's husband Marius does not take kindly when someone disagrees with him or makes suggestions or ask viable questions. He phoned my daughter yelling at her because of something she asked which he could't take, she put the phone on speaker phone and everyone could hear him yelling at her and the call was recorded. She put the phone down in his ear because of the yelling and rudeness (apparently he is rude to all the tenants if he does not agree). After she put the phone down she got multiple calls from him again and she just ended all the calls. After a while she got a message stating to never put the phone down in his ear again, she responded with an SMS stating he has no right to yell at her or speak to her in the way he did. She also kept the proof of all this. The very next day she got a knock on her window, there Maruis was with an envelope in his had. Apparently he had a smug grin on his face saying he has a "letter" for her. She took the "letter" and went back inside. She opened the letter and to no surprise she got notice, no reason was stated just that she had to vacate the premises no later than 23 January 2019 she also got this notice on email (dated 2017-11-23 - Vacate date 23 Jan 2019). My daughter then got an offer on a bigger place for the same amount as she is currently paying with water and electricity included but she had to put down deposit. She then asked pastor Tanya if she's allowed to move sooner if she got another place and pastor Tanya said yes she can she just have to inform then. Later my daughter once again confirmed this with Pastor Tanya and asked if she will get her deposit back. 3 Days later she got an email again (Dated 2018-11-26 - Vacate date still 23 Jan 2019) from Pastor Tanya, again with the notice but this time the notice has been updated stating that if my daughter moves before the given date she will not get her deposit back and by this stage my daughter lost the other offer as she did not confirm. She was planning on moving at the end of November but thanks to the FGC Community Church she could't.

Now finding a place during the holidays seems to be a very difficult task and my daughter had to see the doctor multiple times since this starter due to being sick because of all stress caused by this. Because standing up for herself got her and her 3 year old kicked out. Not only will my daughter have to pay rent at FGC Community Church for January but she will also have to pay rent and deposit, if she is lucky enough to find another place similar to the offer she got. We are putting this in the eyes of the public, Facebook, Hello Peter, The papers and everywhere possible. This is definitely not the kind of "Church People" we will be supporting.

We are not sure what he is going to do about us making this public and arranged with someone from our security company to keep an eye on her seeing as she is still living on the premises. and today he is accusing her of tampering with her meter while she was away for the week and he was the only one spotted at the meter while she was away.
