wasted leave day

I App**** for leave today to get my car brakes sorted. came to ferobrake after recommendations. got there at 8:20am and told the chap at the counter of my issue. he came out to my Opel Astra and told my my disc pads are done for and that he would need to order them. he guaranteed me that it would come the same day and would be fitted regardless of time. I had to phone them every 2 hours to get an update. finally at 4:30 i call them yet again, and this one guy suddenly tells me my car doesnt have rear brake pads?? that it takes horse shoes of some sorts and that they had stock??
