Worst new year ever @ Felix Unite River Adventures

I am extremely unhappy with the state of accommodation provided to us at Up the Creek Camp by Felix Unite.<br> We arrived at Up the Creek Camp 30 December, wanting to check-in to our chalet. In the first place - the people responsible to check us in were 'not around' at the agreed upon time of check-in and we were assigned to a random chalet. This all seemed very poorly organized.<br> <br> The chalet (no. 5) that we were assigned to was in a terrible state. There were insects and spiders all over the place - dead and alive - including on the bed, in the bed, in the pillow cases and under the bed. There were spider webs spun across the roof of the place. Within 5 minutes we had identified 4 different spider species occupying the space and our beds. The floor was also wet from lack of insulation - it had rained shortly before we arrived. We tried spraying the whole room with Tabbard, but this had no effect on all the insects and spiders. I cannot believe that you actually charge money for customers to stay in this health hazard. What if we had stayed there and been bitten by a poisonous spider or other bug?<br> <br> I have to date received no response from management to this complaint and no refund.
