Infuriating Fedics

On 10/05 I went to the Fedics canteen at my place of work. I ordered a wrap from Nthabiseng who was surly and unhelpful. I do not eat wraps often but when I do the staff member would indicate how many of which toppings are allowed but she just kept quiet and looked at me with attitude while I tried to guess what I could put on my wrap. I did not understand the attitude as I usually approach people in a friendly manner. She had no problem, however, being very friendly with the patrons at the sandwich bar next door who were obviously known to her. I called to complain and was told I need to send an e-mail. I sent a very angry e-mail and received a response from Yolande Kruger. She said the behaviour is not condoned and discussions are being held with Nthabiseng and HR. She said she would come back to me the following week (ending 18/05). The week passed without word from Yolande and on 21/05 I sent her a mail saying that I will go to HelloPeter and raise the matter and also make reference to the stabbing that happened in the canteen in 2017. (One staff member stabbed another in the kitchen and it led to colleagues traumatised by blood, a police presence and the canteen being inconveniently closed for the whole day. Fine institution with its ******** element, isn't it? Makes one wonder if background checks are done when recruiting.) I added that she should not bother responding to my e-mail. The following day I received an e-mail from another facilities manager who had just become aware of the incident and wanted to meet to discuss the matter. I rep**** I was not going to take time from my busy working day because of uncouth Fedics staff and that I would be raising the matter in a public forum. My response was forwarded to another manager who "understood and supported" that I did not want to speak to Fedics but still requested that we meet because they did not want to recover service on social media. I said I am not obliged to discuss anything and would not entertain further e-mails. Now if Fedics was the type of company that responded on HelloPeter they would come back and say that they afforded me an opportunity to raise my concerns and I declined it. Absolutely! I gave sufficient opportunity for a response which was not utilised and I am not the type of person that allows myself to be toyed with. The responsibility for this review can be laid at Yolande's feet, not mine.
