WRONG SOURCE CODE USED ON IRP5. UNABLE TO SUBMIT TAX RETURN
I would like to express my frustration and disappointment with Fedgroup. The incorrect source code was used on my IRP5 for an unclaimed benefit fund. It's for the year 2020 and we are now in 2022. My current tax status reflects as non - compliant due to this issue not been resolved. This is unacceptable as I work in a financial position and my job requires me to be tax compliant. This poor administrative issue has a negative impact on my image and reputation at work. The admin staff lack experience and I had to tell them to cancel the directive and re-apply for a new one. Then further to that explain to them that a re-submission of my IRP5 is required and it seems they do not know how to action this. Have made several calls and it seems no one cares and no one understand the meaning the urgent. Will Fedgroup pay my SARS penalties??? and employ qualified and experienced staff??
Best regards,
Best regards,
Please note the following:
- No correction was done on your old IRP5:
3. Once submitted, it may take some time for SARS to reconcile and for the tax certificate to show on your tax return. Unfortunately, this is especially the case with old resubmissions. In the interim, you may follow the below steps:
- Open the menu on the left of the screen Third Party Data Certificate Search (this allows a taxpayer to view all third party information submitted to SARS against your record)
3. If the information for the Fund does not appear, or does not match the most RECENT IRP5 sent to you, you may need to wait, as stated above. If the certificate is showing, the tax return will need to be refreshed. In summary, you should have the below information: Certificate NumberDirective Number
Thank you
