IRP hold up

In March my husband was paid out his pension fund and we received an IRP5 it was only in July when we wanted to submit his personal tax that SARS notified us that the IRP was not submitted and they issued a directive. I requested a new IRP5 immediately from Fedgroup. It has been months. Follow up emails are answered that they are waiting for SARS. I deal with SARS daily and a simple correction of an IRP5 does not take months. I honestly do not know what the hold up is. Without it I can not submit our annual income tax return and by the end of this month I will be penalised. I have never filed late EVER. I do not know what the hold up is.
