Frustrated & highly disappointed
3 years ago I had lost both my parents, leaving me as sole guardian to my 16 year old sister at the time. A life policy was paid out to me & my broker at the time had advised me to invest it with fedgroup. At the time of emotional trauma, I had invested the money & my broker had earned her commission from the investment. Last year, I was let go at work due to the pandemic & had requested for an early withdrawal from my investment, my broker then resigned from me & left me to deal with FedGroup on my own. Since then, my request for a withdrawal of my money has been rejected numerous times & the only reason for it was that FedGroup finds a lack of financial hardship. It is now a year later that I have requested for early withdrawal from the investment & have been rejected again. I am now in a position where I have had to borrow from family & friends in order to keep food on the table & electricity on for my sister & I as we are both currently unemployed. I have submitted all required documentation & letters of demand but still being denied of my own money. I am on the brink of getting blacklisted because of accounts in arrears & yet FedGroup still claims that there is no proof of financial difficulty at this time.
