AN INCOMPETENCE OF STAFF RESULTING IN MULTIPLE PENALTIES BY SARS
REF FG*** I never would have thought in a million years incompetence of staff of any company could result in me having to pay penalties to SARS. For a full year I had requested Fedgroup to submit an IRP5 to SARS for this directive ***0 and its been a back and forth with numerous emails and calls having to explain myself thousand times and each time it gets worse. Surely if this was done in an incorrect manner someone needs to rectify it.

Our dedicated team have already cancelled the incorrect directive and processed a re-submission with SARS. An updated IRP5 for the 2023 tax year has been sent to your personal email address.
We would also like to assist with resolving the matter of the penalty resulting from the incorrect tax directive. Kindly provide us with a copy of the penalty notice issued to you by SARS, for inspection and further action, if applicable. Please send the notice to us on ***.

10 Nov 2023, 14:15Today after a couple of days after this response, I contacted SARS again to check if this was rectified? to my suprised it was not done. I called Fedgroup again to inform them of this and to be told that directive ***0 that SARS claimed to have received from Fedgroup according to Fedgroup it was not sent by them.
I had to call SARS again and this time demand they give me the details of the person from Fedgroup that sent the directive in question with date and time as no one recalls it from fedgroup. According to SARS on the 21st April 2021 Mashao Mathebula from Fedgroup sent through the directive to them.
Then I called Fedgroup again to inform them of this and demanded to speak to Ms Mathebula who also cannot recall.
Its actually becoming a worse nightmare then SARS add another R9000 to my penalty because of this.
