Worst service known to humanity

Don’t ever deal with fedex.

My order from takealot arrived at fedex on Tuesday 5 May 2020.

On Wednesday 6 May 2020 i was notified the order was out for delivery, I waited the entire day only to be informed at 5pm that the order will be re-scheduled for delivery.

On Friday 8 May 2020, I was informed it was out for delivery again, I waited the entire day for the delivery and I was not updated and the item was not delivered.

I contacted fedex and takealot and it was agreed that the item will be delivered on Monday 11 May 2020.

On Sunday the 10 May 2020, the gentleman from fedex informs me he is at the delivery address (yes on a Sunday - which is not normally the case) since the delivery was at my work address, I was left with no option but to ask him to re-deliver it on Monday the 11 May like fedex and takealot and I agreed.

On monday 11 May 2020, the item was not out for delivery, despite the arrangement. I was furious. I attempted to call fedex many times but their lines were terrible. I did get hold of someone who informed me she will get hold of the operations department to have to item sent out, this did not happen.

I later spoke to many people and they all emailed the operations department for its delivery which essentially did not happen.

I had hope it will arrive on Tuesday 12 May 2020, but again the item is not out for delivery. I spoke to Claudia and Amanda this morning who again emailed operations department and said they will get back to me (like all the other consultants I spoke to - which didn’t materialize)

I have no clue when my order will be delivered.

It’s been with fedex for a week, it was out for delivery 3 times already and delivery was only attempted once, on a Sunday. (When they don’t normally deliver)

I have no hope. Such a useless company to deal with. I urge everyone to not deal with fedex. Unless you are keen on running after them.

Let’s hope it will get delivered one of these days..

Worst service known. I’ve never ever received such pathetic service before.
