Worst Customer Service from TNT and the CBCU, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is going on with the CBCU now’er days... I know that they have never been the most forth coming government department in this country, but to go through my bank statement with a fine-tooth comb and when I’ve answered and produced all "additional documentation" No response. SO, who do you hold Liable to get you the feedback you require wrt your shipment?

Is it the Courier Company? in the case TNT? or them? CBCU? when they don’t even have the decency to Call you or email you with an update? Where do you go? Who do you speak too?

In My Case, I was requested to produce and LOA, which takes up to 120 days****erally) from another "Government Department" with little to no feedback and with work ethic that Disgusts me (NRCS). This was sent to TNT 8 weeks ago.

In this 8 weeks, this "Case" has been back and forth requesting me to send a waybill number for a payment that reflects on my bank statement. This shipment has been with TNT since December last year and only 8 weeks ago the case worker at CBCU is asking about payments i made in November last year.

I do all my shipments via DHL and thought it was for one of their waybills, I got the TNT Case working in contact with DHL Case worker and they sent them all the documents for shipment done round above that time… and this obviously, didn’t correspond to what the bank statement reflected.

Ive then gone through my chats with the supplier and realized that the whole reason this shipment was with TNT is because she suggested that i use TNT via her shipping account and ive made payment for this after i paid for my order, which this is the payment CBCU wants a Waybill number for... I sent the paypal request I received from the supplier for shipping to the TNT and CBCU as per their request, reflecting the amount they are querying.

So, firstly what Frustrates me is even after explaining the above, I got no feedback from anyone of the above-mentioned case workers. Secondly, I was promised a call which NEVER happened and lastly after threating to go online due to no feedback i finally got the case working from CBCU replying to my email with the below: From: Areka Moletsane Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2018 9:26 AM Cc: Daren Naidoo; Emma Ntuli Subject: RE: ********** 86

Good Day Please note I had requested documents for the proof of payment produced which does not correspond. Hope the mail fins you well. Kind Regards

According to me if anything is shipped weather it be through a courier company or the post office it must go through customs to enter this country. What bothers me about this whole ordeal is that they ask me for a waybill number for something that happened in November last year. Surly with everything that you import and get released from customs are reflected on my importers code which they should have documentation for… and a payment that they see on my banks statement and have no waybill for, how would I have received anything if its has not come through them. I feel that this is some sort of delay tactic that doesn’t even really make sense to me and yet, no one has the decency to call and explain what this is for and why I had to produce papers and why my shipment has not been released! So, what would it take for a customer like ME, to get someone in that company do to their JOB!!!!!!!!?

For that reason TNT is not at fault, thus we are not able to absorb the charges. Wow! It feels like I'm having a one sided conversation as YOU TNT feel that you can ***** up the shipment details and after 8 months fix it and advise me I'm liable for your mistakes... How is that not incompetence! So once again I'm asking who is liable in the situation below addresses by one of your team leads (Cannie Mohapeloa) who told me in the email that the request for change of tarrif heading came from CBCU after it being with them for 8 months I have to pay again?! How do you get 2 invoice from the same company on one shipment. Clearly someone in your office or theirs has not do there job correctly and now I have to pay for their mistakes... after 8 months... Don't get me wrong, if this change request had happened 8 months ago when it was stopped by CBCU I would have not been this frustrated and livid in how this whole ordeal is being handled. But on top of that I get not only extra vat/duty charges because this wasn't checked and rectified 8 months ago... CBCU is penalizing ME for you not updating the correct tarrif heading! This is ridiculous... I'M NOT PAYING THAT INVOICE! get somebody to let me know when my shipment will be delivered. ______________________ Dear Janine Good Day to you. Please accept our sincere apology with regards to the inconvenience caused. However please be informed that the consignment in question was delayed because it has been stopped by CBCU for a desk audit. Having said that, please be advised that we have been requested to change the Tariff Heading from 8516.32.00 (6) to 8516.40.00 (8), which is resulting to Customs Duties and additional VAT having to be paid. Please be informed that a TAX Invoice is being generated as we speak, for that reason as soon as it is ready it will be shared with you. Kind regards, Cannie Mohapeloa Clearance Team Leader (STOPS)
