wait 3 months for "fast" delivery

So I payed to have a wig be shipped from China , I payed more to have it be shipped faster, and was told it would take 2 weeks at the most.

It is now 3 months later and the package has been in customs for 3 months. I do not understand how you pay for a package to be shipped faster and then the company you payed doesn't seem to try to hasten the process in customs at all.

Now I received an invoice from FedEx saying customs want me to pay an amount that is even higher than the wig itself. I payed R564 for the wig, R354 for Fedex for shipping and handling and now I am told I have to pay an invoice of R756 to finally receive my wig after waiting for 3 months.

How can I be expected to pay that much for a service that took them 3 months to finally get to?

I honestly feel like this is **************** that is disguised as being legal and it is ridiculous.
