TNT now Fed Ex is the worst shipping company I have ever experienced
Worst shipping company I have ever experienced. Shipped a package from Europe. I was contacted (and the tracking details showed) that the package is in Jhb. Paid the custom duties and clearance. The day after the package is back in Europe. Since then the package travelled through Europe, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland. Several locations 2 or 3 times. Staff at Tnt can’t explain anything and have stopped replying to my requests.

11 Jun 2021, 11:14The wonderful world of package travels. This is where my package have travelled. Tallin to Marupe to Wypedy to Langenhagen to Machelen to Johannesburg. This is where I was contacted to pay clearance. Then it went on tour back to Machelen, Langenhagen and again back to Machelen. From there to Grace-Hollogne and back to Machelen again! Back to Langenhagen again then Venlo, Wypedy and at the moment back to one of the popular destinations, Langenhagen. Unbelievable.

Version 1. Email to myself was that the package was going to be shipped (yesterday) to Brussels and then Netherlands and then to SA.
Version 2 The sender of the package who also started to do enquire was told that the package is in Hannover and due to covid rules in SA it is delayed. Total *******.
3 the Tnt tracking shows that the package went to Langenhagen for the 4th time and moved from there to Machelen for the 5th time.
I suppose I must be happy that I at least receive excuses now. Even though none is trustworthy.
I honestly hope that anyone looking for a shipping company will look on hellopeter first and read about my experience.

I have since been struggling to get my money back that I paid for clearance and customs that never happened. I paid due to the false pretence that my package was in Johannesburg and it never was. Since TNT is not refunding me, I am on my way to open a ***** case and let the police deal with them.

TNT/Fedex could not deliver and eventually returned the package to the sender on 28 July 2021.
