TNT JHB is a rip-off and joke
This company should not be operating in South Africa, TNT is not company that provides a good service, and there is absolutely no customer experience, it does not exist, my shipment is delayed and I have been accused of submitting the incorrect value on the invoice found by a customs official inside the box, for a DIY 3D printer in that been said TNT claims I am responsible for the fine, penalties plus the customs charges which I am aware is mandatory. Long and short I board a plane to China incorrectly submitted the value of the goods to be shipped to South Africa, to myself, popped that into the box and sealed it, boarded a plane back to South Africa, then when TNT asks me to email them the invoice for the purchase of the 3D printer I happy did the invoice reflects the correct amount Thag I have paid, This is the mentality of TNT, after paying for the shipping cost, which TNT will happily will receive from the shipper in China, so the shipper in China has allocated TNT as preferable or in some purchases the only transport company to handle all the shipments out of China to South Africa for this product. TNT rightfully should be the ones to accept this fine from customs, or the shipper which is a client of TNT, imposing fines with out proof is a serious matter, TNT is milking us and saving it’s behind, I want to inform all South African citizens never ever deal with TNT always ask the shipper what’s is the name of the logistics company, rather use China mall with tracking or the best customer service oriented companies like DHL and UPS, conclusion TNT is a company that passes the buck knowingly that it’s clients are the ones that are messing up, so it’s easy to bombard emails with customs rules which they copy and paste onto outgoing emails. Sitembiso is called the stops clerk at TNT he has no clue how to justify the fine and penalties. I want to send my case to the media so that it reaches out to everyone, ever other person I know, I might even ask carte blance to review this case, and also seek advice from my lawyer, hopefully some one from government level read and understands how the everyday South African citizens, is been ********** by TNT.
