The Worst Service Ever
<p>I received a notification from TNT on the 28th of Nov 2016 to fill in forms and for my signatures of which I comp****. I received another emails a day or so later for customs payments which was R3600. I payed the money within 2 days of receiving the email and I sent them my proof of payment. While I'm still waiting to hear when my goods will be delivered. I receive another email from their employee who says I need to provide my proof of payment. I called my bank and supplier and they provided me with the western union proof of payment. A day or so later this employee comes back to me asking for freight statement. And I tell him I won't be able to give him that cause I didn't do the shipment but my supplier did. In any case I contacted my supplier requesting this statement and because she used an agency she is not able to get this statement. This is now beyond my control and because it's my 1st time doing this purchase I'm baffled of the delays and how much money I'm gonna lose from this business. Things go quiet for a few days and I decide to write an email to TNT about what the delay is doing to my business, even suggesting that if there is a penalty I will gladly comply. I didn't receive a reply until Monday 12th of December when this employee tells me he forwarded my email to Customs and response is 8 hrs. Ok I decide to wait. Today the 15th of December still no response I decide to ask how far my query was? This same employee responds to my email asking for my phone number to call me. I mean how do they not even have my number on record. He calls and tells me that customs just responded...Wow how convenient. He sends me an email with penalty fees worth R11500. Really? How possible is this if my purchase was only $300. How do I pay penalties worth more than my purchase? This is just a nightmare to deal with not to mention I've lost so much money from this business. This is a seasonal business so by the time I receive these good probably next year. They will be useless to me. :(</p>
