Post office wannabes

Fedex is exceptional for their lack of reliability. From my recent experience with them, I suspect that there is a training program for employees to raise them to this level of incompetence.

They will send you an email to notify you that your package will be arriving on a certain day before 6pm. You will spend the whole day in office waiting for your package. No notification from them, or any update on their tracking system to tell you that the parcel will not be delivered. The next day, the same thing. You will get an update in the morning to tell you your parcel will arrive before 6.

Rinse and repeat.

The high level of frustration comes in partly because you have spent so much money to get the parcel delivered on time. Then the post-office wannabes can't get that right.

I have used DHL for my latest parcel. It's an absolutely different experience - the parcel arrived before the due date, and the delivery date was correct.

Do yourself a favour and don't put yourself through the pain and irritation of dealing with FEDEX.
