Parcel not delivered to addressee

Parcel not delivered to addressee

A parcel addressed to my wife was supposed to be delivered to our house on 8 April 2014. The parcel is now missing. It appears that an employee signed for the parcel. The parcel contained chronic medication to the value of R10500.00. The delivery note is incomplete. It does not contain a surname or contact number, which is required. The 'relationship to the recipient' is also not filled in. My wife and I have never made any arrangement for this parcel to be delivered to anyone other than my wife. I have spoken with two Fedex employees, Gaff and Cheslyn. I have requested feedback in writing. The only person to contact me is the driver. What can he do?? It would be very unfair to hold our employee responsible. He had no idea what he was signing for or what the implications would be. Considering the content and value of the parcel, I would have expected Fedex employees to have a much higher level of responsibility. The fact that neither Gaff nor Cheslyn have tried to make contact with me since I last spoke to them is very weak. Fedex needs to take FULL responsibility for the loss. The Ref is ***. There is no tracking number.

I trust this is in order.
