Nothing express about FedEx!

<p>I have an incoming parcel which the shipper sent but included an incorrect address. I immediately contacted FedEx while the parcel was still in China to rectify this. I was told to email the intended address and a copy of my ID. I did this immediately and got a confirmation email with query reference no. ********** 9 </p> <p>I thereafter received an email from Lizzy Matjila that my delivery address on the system has been updated. The parcel has been scheduled for delivery for today (Wednesday) which was great because I needed the parcel no later than 10amThursday for a family unveiling ceremony. </p> <p>I continued tracking the items and still, delivery says Wednesday before 6pm. I called in this afternoon as the tracking site continued to show me the wrong delivery address and said parcel was in Dubai but the scheduled delivery was still Wednesday before 6pm. When I finally got through to the call centre I am told that yes the parcel is in Dubai, they require certain information from the shipper. Now I am panicking, doing mental calculations. The parcel is still in Dubai, I need it for tomorrow. Secondly, it is nightime in China I cant contact the sender. What do I do? I need the parcel!!! </p> <p>Come on FedEx, you could have at least contacted me (receiver) to let me know you won't be delivering today!! But your service is appaling I must say. I thought DHL was bad, you guys take the cake. Really! I hope I get the parcel before 10am tomorrow. Tracking Number ********** 19241</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
