No movement, no response, no feedback, no service

Fedex picked up my package (tracking # ********** 203800) in the UK on Monday 25 Sept. By Thursday 28 Sept it showed in tracking at Cape Town. Woohoo! 3 days to SA. That sounds great. Except since then: -Tracking has not updated. -I phoned the Fedex call centre 3 times on Friday 29 Sept. None of the calls were answered. -I emailed Fedex on Monday 2 Oct. Got a reply from Lizzy Matjila to say this was escalated to Cape Town Imports as the system showed the parcel was stopped for inspection by customs. -I responded asking when I could expect to hear something - got no reply. -I phoned the call centre again. The call wasn't answered. -Today, Tuesday 3 October, 8 days later, guess what? Tracking hasn't updated, and I've had NO communication from anyone at Fedex.

What kind of operation is this? Your competitors are world class service providers, and you seem to be taking lessons from SAPO.

Fedex, please answer these simple questions which are your bread and butter. If you can't do this, you may as well shut up shop. Where is my parcel? When will it be delivered? When will I be contacted?

Reviewer Update
Hi Tamryn, Thank you for replying and for asking Christoph and Dave to investigate urgently. Unfortunately today has ended with the same dull disappointment I have come to expect from Fedex. Around 11h30 Christoph Mashego emailed to say he would investigate and revert. Around 15h00 I asked for an update. I got no response. Unsurprisingly, today has ended with me being in the exact same situation I was yesterday. I ask again: Where is my parcel? When will it be delivered?
