Most ***********, useless international courier ever! Over a month late and still waiting! (UPDATED)
<p>This is honestly turning into a joke. Our parcel (consignment ********** 75) was sent from our supplier in China on 16 May. The scheduled delivery date was 24 May. Today is 29 JUNE and we have yet to receive the parcel (or any feedback as to where our parcel is, why is hasn't been delivered or when it is going to be delivered). I have sent many, any emails which have all been ignored, I have been told on several occasions that our parcel will be delivered "tomorrow" and I'm still waiting. Our shipment could have been sent on a rowboat and arrived here quicker and with more feedback than with TNT.</p> <p> </p> <p>Here's the rest of the story:</p> <p>Our parcel was stopped at customs, which I understand causes an extra delay, but seriously, it has been over a MONTH. There were extra charges (which we paid) and we were double billed for some things (which I queried and was told to only pay the difference). I have been on the phone (and emailed) with countless TNT staff trying to find out what is happening and when we can expect to receive our parcel. According to the TNT tracking system, the parcel was released by customs several days ago, but we are still waiting for any update as to when we will receive this parcel! This is ridiculously terrible service and definitely the last time that I will EVER make use of TNT's services. I would discourage everybody else from using TNT. We had a parcel sent with FedEx from the same supplier two days later and it arrived here over a month ago without any problems.</p> <p> </p> <p>After my initial HelloPeter review, a member of the management team called me (on Friday 24 June) and told me that everything was resolved and that I will receive our shipment latest Monday 27 June. It is now Wednesday 29 June and I have yet to receive our shipment or any feedback as to where it is or why it has been further delayed. MORE broken promises, delays and bull**** by TNT!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>TNT is THE MOST USELESS COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!! I would rather send a parcel via surface mail through our useless South African Post Office before using TNT again.</p>
Yes, the parcel was eventually received after 6 weeks. No one has been able to tell me why such a basic task took so long and why, even though I followed up every day, nobody got back to me on my numerous queries. I will never in my life make use of your terrible services ever again and I will dissuade anybody else that I ever have to do with in my business or personal capacity from making use of your company.
