Lies About Attempted Delivery

I received an SMS and an email in the morning saying I should expect my delivery before 6pm today. I decided to put everything aside and be at home the whole day and wait for my delivery. I kept on tracking the delivery on the FedEx tracking website, and it said its on the way. Few hours later, around 3pm-4pm, the delivery status changes to "We tried to deliver". "The recipient was unavailable....." Mind you, I'm at home the whole day. The only communication I last received from FedEx was the SMS and an email in the morning saying I should expect my package. I didn't receive any call from the driver saying they are outside whatsoever. Not even a missed call.

I sacrificed my day to wait for this package, and for FedEx to say I was not available to receive it.

Highly disappointed in this company. I called them and scheduled to pick up my package tomorrow morning, before going to work.

Highly disappointed and do not recommend.
