Importers Stay Clear.

<p>As an importer I would like to warn all South Africans to do your utmost to stay clear from ever using TNT to handle any of your shipments. They're clearing agents are pretty much useless. We have a had a big shipment of stock stuck at customs for over a month now and efferts to get the consignment cleared have been in vain. Paperwork goes missing, phone calls are not returned, emails are not responded too. I have no idea who manages that place but TNT's directors need to seriously do something about that place. It got to a point where I flew up to JHB from CPT myself to get a shipment cleared that was left in their hands. What they could not do in 3 weeks, I achieved in a few hours. While at SARS offices I saw many clearing agents coming in and fighting to get shipments released. TNT's agents will not take these extra measures. I feel it is my duty to inform everyone dealing with consistent imports to NOT use TNT. We have had zero to no issues with any of the other couriers.</p>
