FedEx's hidden fee

I recently imported from China and the logistics were handled by FedEx.

Rule of thumb: If I pay FULLY to send a package, I expect it to be sent from point A to B (and we can accept the Import/Customs VAT, as it applies to each individual differently).

I do not appreciate FedEx's additional ROD fee that they add with VAT. I feel that they sneak in this additional fee skimming off each package that enters a country - which is *********.

Other logistical methods do not charge this hidden fee.
