Fedex South African - Unprofessional *********** Shipping Agents

I would like people to be aware of Fedex South Africa and draw your attention to the following. 1./ Fedex South Africa only use an automated service, emails are not responded to or collated to track the communications of a single shipping way bill or tracking number? It is hopeless sending an email to Fedex South Africa, you will end up dealing with everyone, from the cleaner to somewhere in between, but not be able to deal with a competent shipping agent. 2/ The Fedex South African agents seem to have great difficulty reading detailed invoices, my invoice details clearly the description of the items; example: if the invoice said you bought an elephant, then how can it turn out to be a crocodile? Therefore, you would assume the Fedex reading the invoice could distinguish the description of the item and apply such import code. However, not once but due to the incomptence has made me email the same documents time and time again only to get automated response as Fedex leaves it up to their cyber robot to decide, if you are worthy of a professional service? 3./ I have explained as the registered owner of a vehicle which car parts can not be bought in South Africa, the importation of such replacement engine parts do not attract any custom duties. 4./ Fedex South Africa will not allow me to complete the ITAC Import Control from as the owner of this vehicle as i need ITAC to be the judge of what i am liable to pay to Fedex. 5./ As a pancreas cancer survived who made it clear to Fedex i am without transport and only got the ITAC form brought to me today which i am in the process of completing and submitting to ITAc today still. 6. Out of anger and the unncessary stress of dealing with such *********** Fedex staff has meant i cannot repair my vehicle allowing me to go for medical treatment and only got discharged from the hospital last Saturday. &. I am asking the CEO of Fedex South Africa to kindly contact me to request he / she appoints a competent Fedex agent capable of readin English and understanding the contents of the waybill or shipping manifest. Instructions to Fedex South Africa, you are to retain my products and you will allow me to process the necessary ITAC forms i am required to complete by law as the registered owner of this vehicle for import reasons explained above. Please people, it took a day and a half from the time my products were collected in England where they understand English to get to South Africa, this has been an on going battle since 21 July 2020? Thats an entire week of receiving multiple SMS from different people, who do not understand how to read the prescise details on the emails you send to them as a client, not that they get answered. And then, you end up dealing with somone completely new to the tracking number and have to vomit the same information you have sent multiple times. I am not succeeding with Fedex South Africa they are a hopless bunch of unprofessional *****s. This is not the first time this has happened to me, the are good at replication and love irriatting customers. I get the idea the people at Fedex South Africa simply do not care and not a single manager or a person of authority has taken the time to call and say; I see you having problems and how can we resolve this matter?

Thank you for taking the time to write about the experience that you have had with FedEx. Please allow us a short while to investigate the circumstances around this issue.  A member of our management team will make contact with you directly to resolve this as soon as possible. I trust that this is in order.

Regards,
GC

Copies of the necesssaty documents have been emails to ITAC Import control to include sending such copy to; *** and ***>; of Fedex. Can i please deal with a single competent person from Fedex, it is impossible for me to keep track of who to deal with. I would apprecaite a senior manager of Fedex to contact me so as to resolve the confusion and the lack of Sharon Machaka who seems to battle with her English and can not read the description of the suppliers invoice. This is unnecessary and could have been advoided had i received a professional service at the start of clearing my shipment. Thank you Giovanni
