Fedex refused to pay small enterprises in South Africa

Fedex South Africa has No Interest in Paying Small Business Enterprises

Quality Packing Services, a small specialized business, based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Received a desperately call from Terence Buist, Operations Management Specialist for Fedex South Africa.

Fedex had damaged a US$ 15 000.00 oil on canvas even prior to loading, on the 30th January 2017 in Port Elizabeth, due to the lack of training of their staff.

Due to the urgency we inspected the same day, and submitted a wrapping and crating solution on the 31st January 2017. This Quotation was accepted by Mr T Buist, and confirmed twice before the manufacture of the internationally certified crate was custom made.

I had been personally requesting vendor application documentation from Fedex, Port Elizabeth since the 20th October 2016, they were not forth coming, and thus we did not have credit terms with Fedex.

To date no payment for our services has been received and Fedex has refuses to accept any interest charges on the outstanding amounts.

Quality Packing Services urges all organisations who deal in Works of Art, Fragile Items, and High Value Shipments to revaluate there current transport supplier.

I am willing to supply additional details and photographs of the work we packed for Fedex.

Regards

Colin Swettenham

Quality Packing Services

Port Elizabeth

South Africa

+27-71- **********
