FedEx is the worst courier company in South Africa

I ordered an item from US and it was shipped by them the same day. The parcel arrived in South Africa (Cape Town) 2 weeks ago. I had to personally interact with a person in clearance to get his parcel released. It was eventually released and now it has gone "missing" since FedEx claim their trusted third party is delivering the parcel and nobody seems to be able to tell me where it is or when it will get here. It is the worst courier service I have ever ever experienced - I shall; never use FedEx in my life. I ordered a similar item at the same time and the supplier used DHL - the package was delivered to my house in 5 days from the US !!
