Fedex express - yourself into an anurism

Absolute biggest mistake of my life! I ordered a classic car roof rack ****erally only cusomized tubular steel) from the UK and had it shipped to South Africa, I paid the most premium option which was around R3000 to ship it through fedex for 3 day delivery, literally costs the same as the item. It has been 3 months now and I still do not have my package, they have literally done nothing to retrieve it from customs, I have sent plenty of emails, phoned them HUNDREDS of times, they keep blaming the next person and move my enquiry to someone else. When I keep emailing them it seems everyone I have ever contacted has now gone on leave. It has been an absolute nightmare, I should of rather gone with DHL, my friend went through DHL for the same item recently and got it within a week no issues. Now I am down in over R7000 and fedex have zero interest in resolving this properly, what a disaster. Avoid them like the plague if you know what is good for you.
