FedEx charging 75% of my parcel value for delivery. ***?!

WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND FEDEX. Overcharging clients with ridiculous prices!

For 6 years we have used many courier companies, bringing in parcels valued at aroun R6000 and paying between R1000 - R1200 for import duties and vat.

This time was the FIRST time it came through with FedEx, and they charged us R4500 on a R6000 order. That is 75% of the value.

When calling, they keep blaming SARS yet when we ask them about the other courier companies charges, they say they can compare with them in terms of price. Now why would the same value parcel be the same with every other company and then suddenly with Fed Ex, their cost is 75% the value of the incoming parcel.

Absolute **************** and will make sure we avoid this company at all costs, as they will collapse our business if we continue this way.

No help from anyone on this situation, just a "sorry" on the phone and please make payment.

Anyone being over charged like this? I have had a few on social media complain to me after I made a post. I will continue to add reviews here and on other platforms until someone takes notices.
