Don't use TNT. Use a good courier like DHL or FedEx.

I have been buying things online for close to 10 years. I've dealt with a LOT of courier companies in those 10 years. My experience with TNT has been the most unprofessional and frustrating experience yet.

Let me start with the cost. Why are you the only company that charges a fee for paying the import duties? The import duties need to be paid, sure. But why must I be charged R380 for "administration costs" on top of the R298 I had to pay for import duties? That's insane to me. How badly is your company doing that you need to overcharge your customers to make a profit? Your R380 "administration fee" is exorbitant and offensive. It cost me more to pay for you to pay my import duties than it did for the actual import duties. That is completely ludicrous!

In addition to that you don't even have a hub remotely close to where I live. Aramex, DHL, FedEx and PostNet all have hubs/branches in the Nelspruit area but your closest one is in Elandsfontein... THREE HUNDRED kilometers away. Then my package gets handed over to a third party for delivery and I don't get a tracking number with that third party so after that it's complete guesswork as to when my package will arrive. With Aramex I get a live update as to when my package is actually out for delivery so I know when to expect it and whether I can leave the house or not.

Please let me make it absolutely clear that I will NEVER be using your company again and I will instead be using brands associated with quality and good service such as Aramex, DHL, FedEx or even PostNet. The only courier company I now trust less than you is the South African postal services and that's because they ***** my packages instead of just ******ing money out of me.

Thank you in advance for the generic copy-pasted reply. I'd like my R380 back if you actually read this.
