Absolute JOKE. My aunt sent me baby clothes as a gift. Somehow you determine a ridiculous value for the product and want to charge me R1200 duties. The price you set for the items is R6700. R1200 is far above 10%. I am honestly so disgusted. Rather spend the R1200 and get clothes from the store.

01 Jun 2020, 15:41Dear Jean-Claude, thank you for giving me an opportunity to investigate and revert with findings. As per South African Revenue legislation a gift shipment is only VAT and Duty free up to a Value or R 1400.00. The shipment has been declared in excess of
R 6000.00 making vat and duty applicable on the full value of the items. I will contact you shortly with options available.
