Delivery failed as they state no one was home, I have been here all day.

I have sat close by my door bell the entire day as I got the sms that my order was out for delivery today 6 December 2025. Not once has my door bell been rung and everytime I heard someone hoot, I went outside to check and no one was at my gate. So why did I get an sms that my delivery failed because "no one was home and I couldn't be contacted" there was also not attempt of anyone phoning me. Now what must happen as this is a very urgent order.
