Client Service does not exist. Never AGAIN
Fedex ignored 3 requests to use my ID number (since Im not a Trader / Seller) in getting the parcel released. One pair of shoes. Duties paid early on. Two weeks later they sent my parcel to the Government States Warehouse.
Late clearance Penalty R 5000-00 Retrieval Fee R 2500-00 Storage R 10 per day
Previous parcel at Fedex was dealt with professionally but this one not at all. Never have I been so disappointed with a company and their appalling Customer Service. Not sure they care.

I received the following from our Clearance team: An emails were send to client for registration on the SARS eFiling system, unfortunately we will have to wait for Peter to get back for proof of email as he assist. Please also note SARS mailed all importers to ensure they update records before 01/05/2025. The shipper was informed of the delay and requested for the shipment to be abandoned.

30 Jul 2025, 09:46Dear Susi, as per our Clearance team they have provided you with the information you required to complete. These are not FedEx requirements, however SARS requirements. This is a new law that was passed request customs to register.
