Bad service

My parcel was received I was not told about it until I enquired. I received a very bad and confusing reason for my not being contacted. The only time TNT contact ted me is when they wanted money to be paid. And I was apparently fined for abusing the importer's code while I have the code. Someone used my ID number and never bothered to contact me to ask for my Importers code, as a result Customs delayed my shipment and imposed a fine.

The way my order was handled was very unprofessional and it's very disturbing that someone used my ID number without me knowing. I do not think our information is kept in safe hands, we provide sensitive Personally Identifiable Information to the company because we trust that you have sufficient control to avoid misuse. I was very unpleased with the company and I do not think that I will ever consider using TNT again, and I will warn other business people to be aware of this behavior.
