Avoid any company using TNT to deliver the goods

I ordered some electrical swicthes from a place in China, they advised that they use TNT to courrier the goods as they are the cheapest.

In Hindsight its not the case, TNT may be the cheapest on paper but once the goods have arrived they bill the receiving customer an admin fee.

Just as an example my order was 83.54 USD, shipping was 88 USD, on landing TNT want to bill me R 114 for customs fee, VAT of R367.78 and an admin fee of R 434.00

The last time I ordered the exact same switches it was deliverd by DHL, no mess no fuss, no admin fee.

TNT are ripping the customers off, they already get paid by the sednder to deliver the goods, now they also bill the receiver.

Hi

********** 48

I have paid this in any event, the comany in China advised that if I dont collect it will be returned and they will have to pay the return shipping.

To say I am not impressed is an understatement, but to read what the people are saying about TNT on hello Peter is quite shocking..
