THE WORST!

Had a horrible lease under this agent Company for over 3 years. Literally have to beg to get any maintenance done. Zero care for any emergencies, endured 3 weeks without water in the complex. Agent and owner CDT properties or Chris Dutoit unilaterally take decisions without tenant consultation.

Unilaterally setup a utilities account with a 3rd service provider Prestige metering for water, refuse and sanitation. Even though rented unit on prepaid electricity, electricity was cut-off twice over a disputed water/sanitation bills. Electricity reconnected only after payment of the disputed water/sanitation bill. Further, reconnection fee of about R800.00 is charged just for a technician to flip the switch back on.

Agent distanced itself from all the above and never bothered at all. On termination of the lease, all sorts of damages were cooked up (despite lack of maintenance by the agent) to use up the entire deposit. Fair wear and tear items were charged as damage caused by tenant. For example, how the hell does a tenant cause rust and mould?

Utterly disappointed and would not recommend the agent and its affiliates CDT properties and Prestige Metering.
