Poor customer service, poor car quality

Hi there

Kindly assist me here with a matter I have regarding a car I purchased from Imperial Select about a year ago.
‎
My ordeal started on the 20th of May this year when my less than a year old car broke down an FAW Sirius S80. I had it towed to the IMPERIAL SELECT centre in Pinetown for repairs. Upon their initial inspection they told me it was a clutch problem, it was surprising since the car was still technically new. A day passed and they came back and told me the gear selector was the problem and had to be replaced. Now this was shocking for a "new car". A week went by, then they told me they've taken the gearbox to the specialists and they've discovered that they don't the parts here in SA and they have to be ordered from China, which might take 21 days to reach here.

I then requested a courtesy car in the min time then, to which they refused. I was in protest over this since my belief was that this was poor workmanship and quality of their products, so I took the matter to their head office AMH and there was no assistance. The lady there at customer care by the name of Refiloe has been somewhat very rude to wards me to an extent that at some point she said I should just sit down and fold my arms cause she doesn't know how long it would take to have my car fixed.

I have been without my car since 20 May and everytime I ask for feedback I'm told they are waiting for China to get back to them, yet when I ask them when are they expecting to have those part in SA they tell me they don't know. ‎

Today I called at AMH and was told in China they are on holiday and they don't know when they can give me feedback.

Now I don't know how AMH or IMPERIAL SELECT conducts their business but certainly logic tell me if I order something from wherever, there will be some indication as to when I'll have it, in this case IMPERIAL SELECT doesn't know. I've tried a number of times to escalate this further to senior management and failed, seems like it all fell over deaf ears.

I appeal to you to assist and I've been using this car to run my small business, and as a result of this I've lost so much in my business. Today it's 41 days since my car is with Imperial select.‎ I've accumulated too much debt now as a result of hiring a car and I believe I should be compensated for this.

Please intervene, I need my car back, every month I'm faced with paying for instalments and insurance. ‎
