Fauchil Hotels and Resorts

We had to pay corkage for bottles that were not even open at R150 per bottle. We had 5 bottles and only a Gin bottle was opened. The manager Annett Sodzavi said that corkage means bottles brought onto premises as it’s stated on their terms and condition. We asked her to show us the terms on conditions she said that the office is closed and cannot get it. Long story short we ended up paying and she said “ why do black people like causing drama and wanting to see the owner would get her into trouble” . One of the employees who has been with the hotel for a while explained it to Annett how corkage works but would not listen. This happened on the 15.12.2019. I’ve been calling and requesting to speak to the owner of the place seeing the manager has no clue on what corkage is, to no avail. Was told to send an email which I Did and I have called and left my number and still no one has responded to my query.
